What it's based on
The benchmarks come from The State of Security Champions Report 2026, which surveyed 33 active programs about their activity in 2025. Levels follow the Katilyst Maturity Model: Reactive, Guided, Integrated and Optimized. The report describes associations in a small sample, so use your score as a starting point for a conversation with your team.
